Aurora Metal Recycling is a family-owned scrap metal recycling facility at 619 Spruce St in Aurora, IL. We buy scrap metal and junk vehicles, tow them in, and process them here in our own yard. The work is local, the crew is small, and the people who do well here are the ones who show up and take pride in doing the job right.
Roles We Hire For
Pick up junk vehicles and scrap loads across Aurora and the surrounding towns. Local routes — you are home at the end of the day.
Sort and process incoming metal, pull used parts, and keep the yard running. Hands-on work with equipment and a crew.
Answer calls, quote loads, schedule tows, and handle the paperwork that keeps every pickup on track.
What the Work Looks Like
- Most roles are outdoors and physical — you're on your feet and around heavy material.
- Steady, year-round work. The yard runs through all four seasons.
- Everything is local. Routes stay in Aurora and the surrounding communities.
- Our yard hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm and Saturday 7:30am–1:00pm. Closed Sunday.
